Shelley Jupitus
Shelley Jupitus: Painting / Printmaking
This work is based on the Sylvia Plath poem ‘Mushrooms’ which uses mushrooms as a metaphor for the limited life of women, and shows how they gently assert themselves to influence equality. These prints represent a time after the poem when they have gradually become large and powerful.
